You will be guided through the steps necessary to capture schematics. Course highlights include creating part types, generating netlists, generating reports (BOM), and interfacing with PADS Layout.

Detailed lab exercises help reinforce what is discussed during the lectures and provide you with extensive tool usage experience under the guidance of our industry expert instructors.

You Will Learn How To

  • Customize and work with the PADS Logic interface
  • Create 2D Lines, Text Objects and work with Fields
  • Create Parts Types, CAE Decals, Pin Symbols, Connectors and Off Page symbols
  • Create a schematic with parts, connections and busses
  • Define the PCB Layer Stackup and Design Rules
  • Create Netlists, Report Files, PDF, and ECO Files
  • Forward and Backward annotate with PADS Layout
